Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee of a plant. Her birth date was 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick, are three of her siblings. Stone is a gifted student when she was an infant, started her second grade education at the age of five. In 1975, she graduated from Saegertown high school in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her take home Miss Crawford County. Stone moved with her aunt from New Jersey, where she was interested in pursuing a modeling career. A month later, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. After spending a year living in Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. In the end, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling in Europe and decided to pursue acting while living there. Stone appeared in Woody Allen's movie "Stardust Memories" when he was 20. The film was met with diverse reactions.
