Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 - January 19th 2008) was an American theatre, film television, voice actress. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and then she appeared in films during the latter half of the 1950s. She was later featured in films that were notable, such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). She later appeared in various television shows, usually in guest roles. She she was Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978, earning several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette is the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born January 31, 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of her were Jewish as were the children of emigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan as well as the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
