Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss' first taste of fame as a fiddler was in 1990, the year she was 19 years old and won the Grammy in the category of Best Bluegrass Album. It was a feat of awe, not just because Krauss was young but also because I've Got That Old Feeling was the third release in her library. Too Late to Cry was her first release, and was made available in her Champaign Illinois local's age, 16. Krauss had signed with Rounder Records, one of the top folk labels, at the age of fourteen. Krauss is known for her incredible virtuosity and her accomplishments when she was just a few years old. The devotion she has to bluegrass, one of the oldest and least appreciated styles of the American culture, is an ongoing feature. Krauss became a mature performer and producer who had gained experience from her time as a teenager phenom.
